WATCH: New episode of ‘Michael and Michael Are Gay’ about a party where clothing is not optional!
Michael and Michael Are Gay is a new comedy web series created and written by real-life husbands Michael J. Feldman and Michael Rachlis and directed by Annika Kurnick and Ian Alda.
Naked Party is the fourth installment and was released today. The scripted series is inspired by the real lives of its creators and follows two newly married offbeat heroes as they navigate the eccentricities of various gay subcultures in a not quite post-equality world.
Their latest episode opens in the middle of the duo celebrating their friend’s 40th birthday in Palm Springs. After the birthday party takes an unexpected turn, Michael and Michael connect with unusually friendly couple Greg (Kit Williamson) and Justin (Blake Cooper Griffin) who invite them to a “Clothing-Optional” pool party at their home in Cathedral City. Even though the Michaels are uncomfortable with the idea of being naked around a bunch of strangers, they resolve to go—if they could survive Burning Man, this should be a piece of cake, right?
Once they arrive in Cathedral City, a series of unfortunate events makes the Michaels regret A LOT of their decisions, and ultimately teaches them a valuable lesson: that it’s more important to be naked emotionally than physically.
The episode also features Jimmy Fowlie (Go-Go Boy Interrupted), Peter Stickles(Short Bus), Adrian Anchondo (NCIS: Los Angeles, CBS), Jared North (Pit crew, RuPaul’s Drag Race) and the return of Navaris Darson (American Horror Story, FX) as Instagram-fitness-lifestyle model George LeSass.
