Jamie Foxx learns the hard way that jokes about Bruce Jenner’s transition not acceptable – or funny
Glad to see that people just aren’t having it when it comes to jokes about Bruce Jenner’s transition.
The 1976 Olympic gold medalist has never publicly confirmed he is transitioning from male to female but his mother has voiced her support and stepdaughter Kim Kardashian has publicly hinted about his ‘journey.’
Anyway, at Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA, host Jamie said during his opening routine: “We have some groundbreaking performances here, too, tonight. We got Bruce Jenner, who will be here doing some musical performances. He’s doing a his-and-her duet all by himself.”
Then he added: “Look, I’m just busting your balls while I still can.”
The reaction from the audience, which included one of Jenner’s daughters, was flat and backlash on social media has been fierce.
Let’s hope this puts an end to these kind of jokes.

Didn’t we learn ANYTHING from Joan Rivers? EVERYTHING is fair game! It’s comedy kids. GROW UP!
Joe says:
I can’t stand Jamie Foxx or any of the Jenners or Kardashians, and I didn’t watch the awards show. The whole thing is one big joke played on the American public for well over a decade now anyhow.
K. Martinez says:
People have become overly sensitive and too easily outraged. It’s almost comical in itself. Being offended is a risk when watching comedy. If you’re living your life in the public, like the Jenners and Kardashians, you’re fair game. There are more important issues to be concerned with than getting all worked up over a joke.
